When ever I heard a “good” testimony, such as recovering drug addict or someone who was totally lost, I always wanted such testimony. I always considered mine to be really boring, I grew up in a Christian family that loves Jesus. Went to church that preached Jesus and it would be a really smooth, and easy conversion for anyone in such environment. But other testimonies seem much more powerful and compelling. But then I realized that my testimony is much, much more powerful. I grew up in the most dangerous circumstances, a religion called “Christianity”. I my self grew up a lukewarm “Christian”, being comforted in the surrounding environment on the path of self destruction and wrath of God, and not seeing the absolute danger that I was in. I believe it is absolutely so much harder for a religious person to be converted than an individual who does not claim to be a Christian.
So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:16)
